If you are using Windows:

1. Go to the following URL: ftp://ftp.csbs.utah.edu/pub/ssh/
   OR use the links in step 2.
2. Download SSHSecureShellClient-3.2.9.exe and the Workstation-license.dat by right-clicking on the links and requesting “Save Link Target As…” (Netscape or Mozilla Firefox) or “Save Target As…” (Internet Explorer)
3. Double-click on the executable (.exe) to start the installation of SSH. Installation can be done with the standard options selected or you can specify them as desired.
4. Open SSH, click on “Help” click on “Import License File…” browse to the Workstation-license.dat and click “Open” to license the program.

If you are using OSX:

1. CSBS Computing recommends the following graphical SFTP clients for OSX:
   Fugu: http://rsug.itd.umich.edu/software/fugu/
   Cyberduck: http://cyberduck.ch/
   
   • OSX includes command line versions of ssh and sftp. They are accessible from the program called “Terminal” located in: Applications\Utilities\Terminal
2. Download the most current non-beta version .dmg of the SFTP program.
3. Open the .dmg and drag the .app into the the “Applications” folder.
4. The connection information for Fugu and Cyberduck is similar to the instructions for SSH or SFTP located at: http://support.csbs.utah.edu/howto/use_ssh.html
